Adjust Saturation lets you change the colour intensity of an image — dragging the slider right makes colours more vivid and punchy, dragging left desaturates towards greyscale. It is the quickest way to correct a washed-out photo, give a faded image more life, or stylise a photo to a muted or black-and-white look without a full photo editor.
The adjustment is applied in real time on the preview canvas using the HSL colour model. The saturation value of every pixel is multiplied by your chosen factor while hue and lightness are preserved, so colours shift in intensity without going off-hue.
